EGBC Terms of Membership

Please read the following Terms of Membership prior to completing the Application for Membership.

I understand that my membership application is subject to approval by the EGBC Committee. If not approved, I understand any membership fees paid will be refunded in full.

If accepted, I/my child agree/s to be bound by and will abide by the Constitution, Rules, Procedures, Policies of EGBC and of Biathlon Australia whom EGBC Inc is affiliated with. As an affiliate of Biathlon Australia we adopt all the policies of Biathlon Australia and Ausport including the National Integrity Framework.  

I confirm that all the details provided in this membership application are correct and that if any details are subsequently found to be false then EGBC, in its sole discretion, void this application and may refund any membership fees.

I acknowledge and consent to photographs and electronic images taken of me during my undertaking of Biathlon activities. Images and photographs are owned by East Gippsland Biathlon Club Inc and may be used for promotional, marketing or other purposes and by third party sponsors or the sport of Biathlon in general.

I also understand that Biathlon is a shooting Sport and should I compete or train at the Hotham Biathlon Arena, I agree to be bound by Biathlon Australia's Range Standing Orders and the instructions of any Biathlon Australia Range or Race Official.

I acknowledge that I am not using East Gippsland Biathlon Club Inc as my genuine reason for holding a firearms licence. EGBC is not a shooting club. I will abide by all firearm related laws and regulations such as the Victorian Legislation Firearms Act 1996.

Child safe Policy – EGBC adopts BA’s Child Safe Policy and those of Ausport. For the purpose of Child safety insurance all members Under 18 must have a parent also become a member and also register and attend each training session with their U18 child or provide written notice of a parent member who will attend the specific session and take on this responsibility for child safety purposes.
